Fragments of Place: Killiney Station, Kimberly Goes (Unframed)

The Library Project

Fragments of a Place are a series of illustrations that draw inspiration from landscapes that have struck a chord with the designer. The elements and structures part of the environment that are initially drawn or photographed are then developed into minimal compositions utilising geometric forms rendered in a bold and striking colour palette.

Kimberly Goes is a Graphic Designer born and raised in Mumbai, India. Post a Masters in Graphic Design at the University of Arts London in the year of 2015, she moved to Dublin in 2016 where she has been residing ever since.

Specialising in the field of branding and print communication, she has a strong affinity to minimal visual aesthetics. Along with her experience in commercial studio projects in Mumbai and Dublin; she has simultaneously built her practice through collaborative and participatory mediums across Europe. Besides an interest in design research and writing; she is also particularly drawn to the study of places; the behavioural and emotional reaction we as individuals have to certain environments and landscapes.
