December is a Lucky Month, Conor Nolan

The Library Project

Conor Nolan is an illustrator and printmaker from Dublin, creating work with visuals informed by the aesthetics of screen printing and risograph. Conor’s work explores the relationship between text and image, in the context of creative visual narratives, producing books, zines, prints, murals and more. Conor has created work for a variety of clients including Facebook, Jameson, Foras na Gaeilge, the Irish Cancer Society and more.

This risograph print by accompanies his risograph zine of the same name, which reflects on questions of fate, chance, and superstition, produced by Damn Fine Press for Halftone’s book fair, Tsundoku. Damn Fine Press is the newly launched publishing arm of open access screen printing studio Damn Fine Print, based in Stoneybatter, Dublin.

Damn Fine Press looks to showcase the unique work that can be conceived at the intersection of artistic practice and printmaking, while maintaining the studio’s core principles of accessibility and visibility within Dublin’s art and design landscape.
