Croagh Patrick, John McAleer

The Library Project

This print is from McAleer's series Binocular Vernacular that showcases abstract landscape photography of the Clew Bay area of Westport. Taking inspiration from the works of Paul Henry, the photography presents fleeting glimpses of light and colour from around the bay, shot through the lens of an old pair of binoculars, seeing through seeing.
