(Re)United at Last is an extract from Letizia Lopreiato’s transmedia documentary series developed throughout her long term mentorship with Magnum Photos, focused on the exploration of the topic of fear.
Letizia Lopreiato, Magnum Photos long term mentee, is a transmedia multilingual installation artist creating photography based art environments promoting inclusion and cooperation. She writes and performs her work in English, Italian, Spanish and French, which has been published and exhibited internationally, across Ireland, the UK and France. Through the application of 35 mm photography, Super 8 and her poetry and spoken word, Lopreiato’s documentary art practice focuses on fostering social engagement thanks to the creation of text-, image- and sound-based inclusive installations. Her transmedia creations are devoted to be holding space for empathy, while serving as catalysts for a change in conversation about access in photography.
